Solved: 7 Years, 4 Months, 4 Weeks ago Opposite of {$altbg}

Hey guys,

the {$altbg} variable is used to generate an alternating pattern of trow1 and trow2, e.g. in postbits, but I would like to get the opposite of this to change my blockquotes design.

Example:

Postbit colour trow1 -> Blockquote colour trow2
Postbit colour trow2 -> Blockquote colour trow1

How can I do this?

Thanks Shy

You mean for nested quotes? You would probably need to edit the inc/class_parser.php file

I was talkign about the blockquote style in the global.css. I can edit the design there and give all the quotes in threads a certain colour as background (e.g. red). But I would like them to alter from post to post.

Just like post backgroudns alter with {$altbg} to be trow1 and trow2, I would like this for the blockquotes as well.

You can try with this
.trow1 blockquote {
background-color:red;
}

.trow2 blockquote {
background-color:blue;
}

This seems to work, thanks a lot Smile
