Upgrade to Mybb 1.8 ok but theme not ok

First Thanks for the Forum Software its the Best!  The Best One.

the page i upgrade was http://www.we11.net the process was very simple and interactive, thank you very much!

the Only Problem its the Theme, in mi case its white the theme? 
I've always used the Default Theme!

For Example: The Normal Theme

MyBB 1.6 themes aren't really compatible with 1.8. The upgrader focuses more on upgrading the software itself, so the themes will not be perfect on upgrade.

So what are the theme we can use to got correct these template issue. I also has same issue after upgrading.

You can use any theme you want. Choose it from the "Browse themes" under Templates.

^ css files are not loaded. can you click on Default theme (at themes section) and check if css files exist there

you can add new theme and new template and set this for your forum

I have the same problem - Formatting is completely gone after upgrade from 1.6.8 to 1.8 (looks similar to posted picture).

I did some changes in the old theme, but I copied all files to the myBB folder, so all data for the default theme should be there - And when I look up the defailt theme, there is a strange list of style sheets:
color_black.css
color_calm.css
color_dawn.css
color_earth.css
color_flame.css
color_leaf.css
color_night.css
color_sun.css
color_twilight.css
color_water.css

EDIT: In the style folder, the .css look perfect - But in the UI, it doesn't.

I imported another Theme (1point8 and STB). A lot of icons are broken. but it looks more like a bulletin board, now, and has the more familiar style sheets:

tipsy.css
tabs.css
global.css
css3.css
thread_status.css
star_ratings.css
usercp.css
showthread.css

Edit 2: I copied the folder of STB to the "image" folder, and now the icons are all good - I can work with that for now. But still: Why is the default theme messed up.

So, my guess is, there was a mix up of namies in when the theme and the stlye sheets were imported.  I did change the theme in 1.6.8, so that might be cause - But it should at least be possible to select the clean default theme of 1.8, inpependent of a messed up upgrade.

Is there any way to download only the default theme?

Is it possible the previous default theme has not been replaced by the 1.8 default theme. If this is so, use the create new theme feature and name it Default 1.8, select it, and see if it works.

Well… i try to update with a Clean Database, Import Only the data of:

mybb_posts
mybb_searchlog
mybb_threads
mybb_threadsread
mybb_users
mybb_usergroup


Now can´t see the correct forums, and Theme its Ok
