[Error Message] won't login, no errors

Hello,
 When I try to login to my forum (just installed it yesterday), it would take me back to the index as a guest and ask me to login again. The password is not wrong (and no such error displayed).

When I try to login as an admin, it would take me to dashboard and soon as I click on any link, takes me back to the login box.

I *think* it might be something related to cookies, any clues?

Sounds like cookie domain setting to me. (Admin Control Panel > Configuration > Site Details)

An example:

.sitename.com

You might have to edit this in your settings.php file
