[For 1.8] Square theme

Does it's possible to update the Square theme to the latest version without messing all the custom mods in templates? I mean collors, banners, links, configurations etc? Like updating MyBB, with no mess in page...
Since intalling Square, I have updated it only one time and all my forum was reseted to zero, regarding the custom mods above,

This theme is amazing! Thank you so much eNvy! Just a quick question.. is there any way to make this theme responsive? Maybe someone can guide me where exactly I should go to update the css or insert any specific codes?
