500 Internal Server Error

I'm currently getting a 500 internal server error on my site. I've checked my cpanel error log and there is nothing relating to this.

what is the last thing you added / changed through admin panel / ftp (files) - can you revert that & check
as error log has no clues, you may have to contact web host for the support.

I have reverted the changes I made in htaccess and this issue still persists. I have contacted the hosting provider and they have ruled out any server issues.

^ can you temporarily turn off .htaccess (rename it to htaccess29nov.txt) and check

I downloaded a copy and deleted the file and this issue still persists.
