Hello.

I just heard that registered users on my forums are not able to post on any threads, but they are able to make threads and yet again, not able to post on it anymore. I haven't noticed this as an Administrator. I created a test account to try it out and I get the following error when trying to submit a reply.

There was an error posting your reply: The specified post does not exist.

I googled around about this, but only found posts where misconfiguration of SEO was causing this. I dont have it installed at all.

Version: New Installation of 1.8.3

I had this problem a while back, I reinstalled the whole forum and everything was fine. Now I have no idea how long its been like this again.

To fix it, I've tried to deactivate multiple plugins, but nothing else. I have no idea what should I do.

Please let me know if there is something more I should tell you.

Regards, QentiC

ACP -> Configuration -> General Configuration -> Disable All Plugins? -> set to Yes, Save and retry.

Also check if there are any modified files: ACP -> Tools & Maintenance -> File Verification Show the results here.

Disabling all the plugins fixed the issue. I enabled them again and just went back deactivating them one by one. Deactivating Board Announcements Manager by Darth Apple seemed to be the problem. Didnt think it would be as I did not have it installed when I had this problem last time. Would still be nice to get it working with BAM.

Also the file verification gave me these results:

portal.php Changed
calendar.php Changed

Is it just because I've edited those myself?

Well, you can report the bug to the author here: http://community.mybb.com/thread-159160.html
Or here: https://github.com/Darth-Apple/BAM

As for the files, if you modified them then they're reported as changed, yes.
