Desktop Notifications are neat, but annoying, id do it but optionally.

Is this going to have popups included?
E.g. you are browsing in the forum and someone just replied to your thread or someone just mentioned you and a popup appears, notifying you about it. If you click the popup, it will bring you to the thread, the Notification/Alert (1) should be gone if you've clicked the popup.

OR is this too much copy-ninja from ipb? Its just great feature, thats why i ask.

Desktop notifications are not confirmed features for 2.0. Notifications similar to the MyAlerts plugin are confirmed.
