Not Solved [How To?] Make username start on a new line if too long?

We're having issues with the username width (see attachment).

The max avatar width is 250px, and ideally we would like the username to fit snugly underneath that. However, instead it just expands the div.post_author scaleimages.

I've tried adding max-width and word-wrap rules to those below, and it's had no effect:

- div.post_author scaleimages
- .post classic .post_author
- div.author_information

Any ideas to force the author information to stay at a set max-width and for the username to put that last name on a new line? Thanks for the help.

Consider shortening the maximum number of characters allowed in a username. ACP->Config->Login & Registration Options. You might also look into using the Word Wrap property.

The forum I made the skin for probably won't want to reduce the allowed number of characters.

With word-wrap, I tried it and it had no effect. :/

In your global.css file find:

.post.classic .post_author {

Add this at the bottom:

width: 158px;

So it looks something like this:

.post.classic .post_author {
    border: 1px solid #070707;
    float: left;
    height: 100%;
    margin: 2px 4px 4px;
    min-width: 158px;
    padding: 5px 1%;
    width: 158px; /* Add this to your global.css file */
}

Hope this helps.

I could not actually see any posts as I found your site rather difficult to comprehend... You make MyBB skins - is that right? (boggles a bit given the question) Can you provide a link to a post where this is not working?
