Merge system for 16 ?

Hello,

I have a 18 old forum and i want to convert back in 16 because all themes no look nice..

I just created a new forum and tryed to merge from 18 to 16 but merge system give me a error: Instal last merge system, after i install this last one i got another mesage : Merge system work in 18 update to mybb 18

Can someone help me?

There is no way to downgrade to 1.6.x from 1.8. Sorry about this fact, but 1.6 is going EOL with only security patches and some bugfixes at this point, so we recommend that you stick with 1.8 and do what you need to make it work.

Is there any specific way we can help you work with 1.8 in a way that would make you happy? Is there any specific feedback you have for how we could improve it?
