instead of having the insert button to insert....

can you make it so when you click on the tag it inserts directly?

secondly, how can i add the imgur plugin into this ? So when i click a dropdown selection the pop up is activate to upload to imgur?

thanks but i looked at the SCEditor frontpage and they have a drowdown menu of the smilies and when you click on the smilies it s inserted?

the smilies button open up another panel with smilies buttons LOL

so it a way to directly insert a string without having to press an insert button?

You could always set your smilies up in ACP so that text such as

:) and :P 

convert automatically?

no i mean to use the similar method to bring up that second panel with other buttons for the tags.....smilies are a means to that end grrr LOL

I don't think that's possible yet.
