Security questions not displaying during registration.

I've been using MyBB since 1.4ish and have been continually upgrading (the ease of upgrades is my primary fondness of mybb) but with 1.8 the security questions plugin is now part of the main code base. And it's not working. I've added questions, disabled, re-enabled and no go.

Suggestions?

Check your templates : member_register, member_register_question and member_register_question_refresh

Not sure what I should be checking for. The default templates are in use, how can I simply reset them back to stock. I think when I unregisted the legacy plugin it "fixed" the template for me.
