Signatures and locations

I have my new 1.8 board up and running, slowly pulling in members.
I may have rushed things through without reading the small print, don't we all!!
I have missed something because no one can see signatures in their posts even though some have them. I as admin cannot see them either.
Also, is it possible to add a users location underneath the "posts, threads and joined" stats in a users post?
