This should be a global feature. For example, users should be able to use it for logging into their user accounts not just for the ACP. Should have the option of email confirmation, text or smart phone scanning.

right, and it's something that should probably get carried over to 2.0

But not just for the ACP Euan, for normal logins as well.

It's likely it'll be global, and we might also add support for other 2FA methods. We still haven't decided on that yet.
