Duende Theme and Last poster avatar mod

hi,

i want to use Duende theme and Last poster avatar mod ( http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=74 )

i read at information table of the mod that "Changes on templates are auto (Only works fine with default theme and default them based templates)."

my question is: how can i use the mod together with the Duende theme?
is it possible?
