Not Solved [How To?] How to enable lightbox for images in posts?

I have a test forum setup and thumbnails are created correctly.  However clicking them opens full size images in new window.  Every other forum uses a lightbox for viewing. I see there is a tutorial on how to hack the code but that was old and I couldn't imagine in this new version almost 2016 a forum would not have built in lightbox option.  Where in the configuration would I enable this?  I looked around but could not find it in any of the typical places in the admin.

thanks

Your looking for an image magnify. Tested this plugin and works perfectly with 1.8.x http://mods.mybb.com/view/image-magnify
Plugin Count: I lost count.

Awesome. This should work. Thanks.

I wonder though, why it has not made it to the core built-in functionality of the forum package yet?  Lightbox or equivalent is pretty much standard everywhere for at least a couple years now.

Feel free to suggest it in the development of MyBB 2.0 and/or 1.8 if it hasn't been suggested already.
