saving into threads table at newreply

Hey there,

I'm working on my first plugin and running into some problems and hope someone can help.

With every new post made I want something saved in the thread table in a column I created, think of it like the lastpost information.

I tried different hooks in the datahandlers/post.php but so far I only got it to save into the posts table but the column in threads remains empty. I'm probably going at it the wrong way, but I just don't know what to do.

Using posthandler hook(s) is correct and should work. Since you didn't show any code we have no idea what you're doing wrong.
