VRS: 1.8.6
Error Message: "The maximum server load limit has been reached. Please check back later once the server is less busy."

I just started with Forums (& myBB) and so, I'm a real newbie. I am using Arvixe as my web host and received the above message. Arvixe has a habit of sometimes answering support tickets. The latest ticket asking whether the messages is theirs has so far gone unanswered. So, is this a MyBB diagnostic message and how do I clear it?

I don't think it's yours but Arvixe took 28 days to say they couldn't do anything when my site was hacked, and I'm trying to get stuff working before my 28 days are up.

(I'm sorry about this but since I've got your attention) is there any downloadable documentation?

thanks

Go to
ACP > Configuration > Server and Optimization Options > *NIX Load Limiting

Change the value to 0.

Thanks.

The recommended value is 5.0, should this be changed to 0.0?
