Mybb V2 (as mentioned countless times before) is still in very early stages and no where near ready for a live demo. You can however keep up-to-date with progress here:

There is currently no live demo because, as said above, 2.0 is still very early in development. There will be a live demo as we near the first Alpha release that will stay online from there onwards until the release (at which point this forum will be upgraded).

mybb should still host a demo of its products to help lure people to using the software even after the community forum is upgraded to 2.0.

Well, the idea is that the community forums act slightly better than a demo given that they have a bunch of content, user accounts, etc.
