[Error Message] Plugins

So I just made a mybb forum and I want to add a few plugins however I keep getting this error:
"The following errors were encountered:

• There was a problem communicating with the MyBB modifications server. Please try again in a few minutes.
  

I am new to this stuff so I don't really know what I am doing 
I Have tried to ping mybb using cmd
and I do have cURL Enabled

My Mybb version is 1.8.7 

Hopefully someone can help me out

This may be a host issue. Try checking with them.

I was thinking that as people have complained about them
my host is 000webhost.com

Yeah, it's likely it's the host since your using a free host. We don't recommend using a free host for issues like this.
