Hey people, I’m currently trying to have https work on my site. Whenever I navigate to the https version, it redirects me to http. I tried looking up the issue and this is what I found:

The address is https://dankrp.phy.sx/mybb/index.php
The site I used to gain the info in the picture is https://whynopadlock.com
Thanks in advance!

Change your URL's in ACP -> Configuration -> Site Details
There you can add the URL's to redirect to. so basically change the links to https.

Okay, so I did what you said. I changed the info in site details, and I changed all my redirects to lead to https. I entered my site into whynopadlock and it has all checkmarks saying that it should be there. However, when I visit my site, it tells my connection is not private :|

Seems fine to me. I think I had a similar problem however that is completely client-side. clear all your cookies and cache oh your browser and it should fix your problem.

Is there any mixed content loading on the page? A single bit of mixed content effectively negates the security benefits of HTTPS.

I just did a search in my templates and changed everything I could find that was http (except the xmlhttp.php and xmlhttprequest things). Not sure what else I can do, I still don't have the padlock.

Doesn't seem to be working :|

This really has me stumped. I've tried three different sites and all say that the site is secured and all data was called securely. But there is no padlock and deleting cookies/resetting cache isn't doing anything.

Whats a padlock? lol **nvm figured out what it was lel maybe I didn't idk **

I tried that why no padlock link and entered your url and it worked fine and came out https. I wouldn't worry about if it that is the case it may only be on your side. Try using a different browser you never use *cough* Microsoft edge *cough* and see if it does fine loading your page then.

Nevermind, it works now. There was an issue before with one of the pictures on the site.
