Is there a way to send an auto-generated message to a newly registered user?

For example;

"Hello, thank you for registering at [X]!
Be sure to activate your account within [X] days!

~The staff team"

There's one, but i don't know if it works for 1.8.9

Just test it.
Change

		"compatibility" 	=> "14*,16*"

Into

		"compatibility" 	=> "14*,16*,18*"

And it works
