I can't prune users

Hi

I can't prune users as a super admin (owner)? I did this on my last MyBB forum and all went well but now it's not working.

I go to their profile and click the Prune user button. Then I get this message: 
'You have specified an invalid user.', why is that? Is it MyBB or my theme? What's the issue?

I'm used 1.8.9, upgraded now and still not working.

Do you mean the purge spammer button on their profile? If so, you'll need to check for updated templates to ensure the template changes from 1.8.10 are applied.
