Blockquote - add span class

I would like to ask you where to edit the class-parser.php file to add a class/style for the date (displayed of right). I would like to add <span class="smalltext">DATE</span only for date.

perhaps it'd be better to use a simple style rule in the global.css / showthread.css - like below

blockquote cite span {font-size: 10px!important;}
