[How To?] Specific usergroup can see thread list but not thread content

Is it possible that specific usergroup can see thread list, thread counts and reply counts in specific forum but can't see thread contents in that forum?

If i not tick view threads in setting of forum for specific usergroups than that usergroup not able to see thread lists, thread counts and reply in that forum. Thats i dont want.

As far as I'm aware the only way to do it would be to try untick the view threads setting but as you've said that doesn't work, so it may require a custom plugin.
