Hello,

Recently, users on the board have been getting 403 errors when attempting to make posts including templates.

Example:

<center><table cellpadding="10" cellspacing="10"><tr><td align="center" valign="top" style="background-color: transparent; color: #555555; font-size: 8px; font-family: verdana; width: 150px;"><img style="background-image:url('http://i.imgur.com/rVgxWET.jpg'); border: 3px double #111111; padding: 15px; margin-top: -10px; width: 100px;" src="http://i.imgur.com/dXDl0wN.jpg"></img>

<div style="width: 320px; text-align: justify;">This is not a requirement but a good area to think about and write if possible. If you have a history for your character you'll have a dynamic character with purpose, and we like character's with purpose.</div>

This is the template used to submit new characters for approval. However, new users ahve been getting 403 errors when using this template.

Another example:

<table width="375px" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center" class=""><tr><td width="375px" class="" vAlign="center" align="center"><div style="background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/XSfV9.png'); width: 375px; padding: 10px; border: 10px solid #DDD5B5; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9px; color: #888888; text-align: justify; align: center; line-height: 9px;">

<center><span style="font-family: courier new; font-size: 10px; letter-spacing: 2px; text-transform: uppercase; color: #000000;">TEMPLATE © ZODIAQUE OF DECADENCE</span></center>

This is a template I personally use for a character of mine, but I was unable to make my posts without getting a 403 error. Eventually, I was blocked from accessing the site for five minutes. Once I could get back on, I was able to post fine just using plain text.

Did I change something in the Admin Control Panel that blocks the use of templates? Where can I go to diagnose and fix this problem?

looks like it is a problem with mod_security. contact web host & ask to disable it or add rules to fix the problem

I've looked over the instructions on the page. As I am not the domain owner, I don't have access to the FTP root or the hosting control panel (at least I don't think) and I don't know if contacting the web host under my name will work. I will have to see if I can get back in contact with the domain owner.

I've checked PHP info and I can't find a section on the page that says "Loaded Modules"; I do know that the words "mod_security" aren't on the page.
