Not Solved Plugin Uploader host error

I installed plugin uploader however when I try to insert a plugin it says: "host does not extract files"

how do I fix this? I also get a weird stream error while I attempted to upload facebook connect.

sorry I did not write clearly what happened was I installed plugin uploader and then tried to install myfacebook login with plugin uploader. I now get this "cannot open stream" error. Also I get an error saying my host does not open files or something How do I fix these issues? Thanks

If you're getting pretty much any error that says something is wrong with your host you need to contact your host about it. Seems like they disabled fopen of remote files or something in php.ini.

I guess what I can do is contact my host. but what I will do is just uninstall the failed facebook connect. I wanted to use pluginuploader to upload a few plugins. (myfacebook connect, whiteboard, and an image resizeing plugin) I'll just make a separate thread for those because i have been having difficulty uploading them manually.

Host does not extract file sounds like there is no module in your php to unpack the archive, or you have a problem with your folder permissions, or not created a temp directory.
