Plugins Not Showing

Every plugin I upload to public_html does not show in the acp plugins area. I am uploading the inc, jscripts and etc to public_html. They're just not appearingi n the plugins area so I cannot install and activiate. Am I doing something wrong?

You might be uploading them incorrectly. Is your board on a subdomain/directory or is it just the root of your domain? Meaning are you going to www.yourwebsite.com and MyBB is there or do you have to go to like yourwebsite.com/forum?
