Trying to learn how to attach/upload a photo and implement that feature in my installation. 

   

Why is time added after the photo?

^ images embedded from external sites can be shown in full size.

attached images have size related settings at forum admin panel
- whether to show as thumbnails or in full size or as links

Thanks for the informative, detailed reply. 

Would going back to the previous version of mybb solve the image time stamp issue?

^ MyBB 1.8.11 may be installed & used; however MyBB 1.8.13 is expected to be released soon (though can't say how soon ..)

Is there any downside to using 1.8.11 other than minor security concerns?

Also, is it necessary to enable email notifications for each post, or can it be set on the thread level?

How do I adjust maximum attachment size and use space limits?

^ MyBB forum system is upgraded to version 1.8.13 here.
(it will be made available soon for installing / upgrading)
