Solved: 3 Years, 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I have recently switched from a VPS to a control panel hosting package. My steps thus far have included, changing the DNS to the new hosts, uploading a full file backup via FTP to the new host, creating a new database and user and then uploading a current database backup.

My site is online and functional, however, ever since the switch there has been problems left and right, starting with the theme, whenever I try to save any stylesheet within a specific theme without editing anything the theme becomes broken. Icons go missing *mostly font awesome* styling elements go missing and such, I have also noticed that when this happens the https of the site turns unsafe and a little symbol appears in the address bar regarding unsafe scripts.

I have also noticed that whenever I try to export and import this certain theme, I get an error message such as:
  • MyBB could not find the theme with the file you uploaded. Please check the file is the correct and is not corrupt.
Steps I have taken are listed below, with unsuccessful results:

Properties set to 777 on cache and cache/theme.
Note ++ to make sure theme contains certain coding at the bottom.
Making sure https settings are correct within ACP and inc/settings.php
purging cache via Cloudflare and the new host. Also, command flush DNS
I have also uploaded several databases, each having the same result, even on e.g mydomain/mybb/
I have also tried copying and pasting CSS styling from an earlier unbroken version of the theme and the changes do not show.

website URL is:

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Kind regards,

I have the same exact issue... and my pages are not talking to one another.. for instance my themes even the default one does not work well..I am shutting down...I lost a lot of my mods I can't get automedia to work. it's funny too because it was perfect just a week ago...I hope its just a dumb thing that I am able to fix but I hope to repair somehow.
