Change forum width

in global.css I find #container AND change it width as required ...width:80%; OR width:940px; but not work. Why?

If you are using the default theme then look for .wrapper and change the 85%

Open Global.css and edit .wrap

.wrap {
    width: 80%;
    margin: 0 auto
}
