Error message when installing Pro Stats

Hello,

I prefer installing this Pro Stats plugin and never had a problem with this. But now you get this on a new installation and with the latest version of MyBB.

Default theme and no other plugin available.

have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling the plugin ? if not then try it ..

Yes, have done this twice and have no errors under File Verification. No files left and run all functions under Tools & Maintenance.

Same error again when trying again.

Is there a similar plugin like this?

there are a couple of similar plugins which are no longer supported by coders.

Top Stats is a different type of stats plugin.

however if you need direct help in checking prostats plugin then
you may provide me temporary access to your forum admin panel & files (FTP)

It is caused by the usage of htmlspecialchars_uni() for the $setting['description'] by MyBB in 1.8.15

And undoubtedly it also effects some default MyBB's setting descriptions.

Have deleted all files and installed again but same error.

Is there no solution for this issue? Is there a way to modify the ProStats-plugin so  that board-settings page of it wil work correctly?

The plugin itselves works very good, just the board-settings page isn't......
