Impossible number of users online at any one time
#1
Just been checking my small forum which only has 64 members and has been closed to new members for quite some time. However, the stats report that a total of 509 members where on line at 2.44am on the 21/2/2018 (see screenshot)

Any idea how this would have happened and how I can find out if there is a breach of my forum?

Thanks

Mike

More likely just some spiders/bots that went wild. Had it been an security breach you'd know by now.

Many thanks for the explanation; it's put my mind at rest anyway.

Yea, you can relax.

I get the same thing on my website, too. I know who the bots are. Google, UpTimeRobot, and Apple are the most common bots that my website gets.

Also, I have a plugin that does a decent job of banning SPAM bots.
