Okay so do I just replace the files that are listed with the code thats along with it?

I would suggest waiting for the hot fix (1.8.17) to be released. If not and you wish to test the code prior to release, then yes, you need to take the source code from the Pull Request and overwrite the code on your forum. Be sure to take a backup of your changed files.

Okay thank you. I know I'm being impatient but ist here any ETA on it that you know of? Also I tried replacing the files and it didn't do the trick, but that's okay. I'll just wait.

Yes. There are currently two open Pull Requests that just need a little further testing before we merge them in. Once that's done, we will generate packages for the release and install them here to ensure they work correctly. We're also planning on posting a public thread with theme here on the forums so people can test them before a full general release is made available and a blog post created.

I'm hoping we can get the two PRs merged today if other team members ind the time to test them and packages created today too.
