I even changed it to (HTTPS) and I still got the same result.

Did you use the correct database prefix?

I PMed you what I think it's your phpBB database prefix, use that one, not the default MyBB database prefix.

I'm stuck at this portion of the merge. I've gotten assistance to make it further, however, we are both stumped at why I'm still receiving the error.

SQL Error:
1054 - Unknown column 'aim' in 'field list'

We've even added the [aim] field since it was there but gave it a '0' that way it doesn't display

Haven't a clue on how to resolve this issue.

i tried this ..and it's worked..

ALTER TABLE `mybb_users` ADD `aim` VARCHAR(50) CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci NOT NULL DEFAULT '' AFTER `icq`;

Merge System 1.8.11 is unfortunately not compatible with MyBB 1.8.16 or later. Ticket: https://github.com/mybb/merge-system/issues/210

Ok, that's fine.

Can the Merge System retain the query of leaving the 'aim' column in there until AFTER the Merge is complete, THEN with another script or something to remove the 'aim' column?

To me, that seems to be the logical way of dealing with the issue until someone has a better solution to this.
