  • Detailed description of your problem, including steps to reproduce if necessary
  • When users register for my forum, after clicking go, it takes upwards of 30 seconds for the page to load

  • URL to your forum/URL to specific problematic page
  • New installation or upgrade (from which version of MyBB)?
  • New installation of 1.8.19

  • Test user account (if it requires additional permissions)
  • not required

  • Screenshot or error text, verbatim
  • N/A

There can be various reason for that such as hosting or even theme not updated.
Can you try to see if it is this slow in default MyBB theme as well ?
It might be possible that your forum theme is not updated for latest MyBB.

Thanks for your input. I'm running off a VULTR vps with 4gb ram, 60gb ssd, 2cpus

Switched to default and registration still takes upwards of 30+ seconds.

Okay I feel your configuration is good enough.
1. Can you use the Disable all plugins feature in General Configuration and try to register again ?(NOTE: do not disable plugins manually)
2. Can you also check if all your files are default using the File Verification system ?

You can remove the user testing that was me. You can leave my other account.

I was using a extension in chrome to see what was taking so long, It seems like its just hanging there I mean your current theme does have 10 .css but you said it happens in the default also, I am not sure whats happening unless its related to your server location and the amount of hops it would take but then it would happen to each page load.

By chance do you have anything caching on the server loaded or on the forum?
Are you using a CDN on the forum.
Is cloudflare install in any way?
Looking for help and not support, PM me.

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://smstash.co/jscripts/general.js?ver=1804"></script>
