Problems with BootBB template not showing videos

I have a bit of a strange problem. When I embed a video in my post it shows normally. However when I switch to the BootBB template it blocks the video as it is being served over http??

How does the template cause the video to be served over http??

Well, is your website under HTTPS (with SSL certificate signed and enabled)?

If not...

Make sure that your settings in the AdminCP are similar to what you see in the screenshot below.

Also, look at the Cookie Domain and Path settings as well.

Yes it is. It's all working fine under the normal template. But i dont like the standard Mybb template for mobile so I am using BootBB. However that template is requesting the video over http. I dont get where the template sets this.

Actually most templates have video embed code. Look for the template video_youtube_embed and check if that doesnt contain http instead of https
