showteamlink template is already renamed and relocated. Now its called
footer_showteamlink and being cached.Refer this PR, the very first changed line: https://github.com/mybb/mybb/pull/3513/files However, it was being cached in index earlier too. Check the changes of index.php in the same PR.

No, this should not be an issue in previous release as well coz the code was there in index.php?
Were you, by any chance replaced your files with the latrst repo after that pr merge?

I actually downloaded an fresh package from the https://mybb.com/download/ page to test a plugin. Everything was fresh and clean.
