I generally tell my clients to execute the tasks system every 60 - 120 seconds. If your server has systemd installed you can automate this trivially.

Running the promotion task every minute is overkill and unnecessary tbh, unless you have users being promoted every minute there's really not much sense in doing this.

This is applicable and perfect for websites that has massive members and has auto promotion and paid subscription.
