[Rejected] Send thread to a friend

Hello,

When we try to send a thread to a friend using E-mail nothing goes to mail

and in log mail system we see this message 

MyBB was unable to send the email using the PHP mail() function.

Does the rest of the mail on your board get sent fine? i.e activation emails etc
