$lang->lastpost_never. Where is this defined ? because it's not modcp.lang.php. 

It's defined as Never, which does not make much sense. None would be a better choice.

It is defined in global.lang.php since is used in more than one context (ex. forumbit_depth2_forum_lastpost_never).

I thought it was taken from somewhere else, so my suggestion is to create a definition to use here.
