Randomly going into Maint Mode

We have a strange one.This website http://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/MyBB/
randomly goes into Maint Mode. I go back in  and turn it off and some random time later its on again.
Using version MyBB 1.8.14
Any tips appreciated. Virus scan showed NO issues and a visual look through shows no suspect or new files.

remove the install folder and test again.

PS.: your theme is using 1.8.0 version of MyBB

Gallery fixed by reverting back to earlier version of php.
BUT we still have the going into maint mode randomly issue. Happens about every month from what I am told.

it is a crashing database table. I have done a repair in cpanel and also optimised in mybb but I think it might come back

Limit the maximum server load before MyBB rejects people. 0 for none. Recommended limit is 5.0.

^ can you tell us which table is crashing most often & which engine is set for it ..
also what is your MySQL version ?

not sure which table. Just says a table crashed and attempting to repair.
Server version: 5.6.45

^ better to ask your web host support - why database is crashing frequently ?
they should be able to analyze & fix it or tell you the main cause for it ..
