Gif profile photo - specific useregroup

Is it possible that user of a usergroup can only upload a gif profile photo

Hey,
I believe users can add gif avatars by default, but you will most likely need to increase their maximum allowed size. You can do that in [ACP] > [Configuration] > [Settings] > [Profile Options] > [Max Uploaded Avatar Size].

Whatever I try to guess, I don't understand the purpose to only accept GIF images.
GIF is an image file format for animations with a capability for transparency. So why not accept PNG as well?

Maybe you should not ask for GIF images, but ask for what you actually want to achieve?
