If any member mention an username preceded [email protected] then the user mentioned will be notified through the MyAlerts system just like the ThankyouLike system.
Any useful plugin of such sort?

What version of PHP are you running? I know DVZ Mentions states that it requires PHP 7 or higher.

DVZ Mention doesn't work on my site in MyBB 1.8.22, but I found an alternative plugin Automention
