how can I fix this?

Can you tell me which MyBB version you are using and which database engine (MySQL, others) so I can take a look at this issue? A screenshot would also be appreciated.

Otherwise, I'm suspecting you have MySQL strict mode on, let me double check to make sure it works with strict mode and come back with an update
