Remove images (media) from quoted posts

Hi guys
I'm after a plugin that will remove images from quoted posts. Replace them with the URL link instead, or a link to the OP, or just 'image removed'

I found one "OUGC Disable Quotes Media" which I tried and worked a treat, but now its no longer working (broken by myBB update?) and I can't find any mention of it on here or elsewhere on the web. Maybe its been withdrawn.

Anything else out there or could be easily knocked up?

Had no reports of it not working, but will keep a close eye on things.  We upgraded to 1824 via changed files 2 days ago, so it's possible.

It was working for me a couple of weeks ago but noticed today it isn't.
I don't think I messed anything else up.. just did the myBB update.

Can't confirm - yet.  Just tested on our live board with an existing post / image.  Will keep you advised, because we love this feature.

Seeing some inconsistent results.  Works sometimes - sometimes not.  Will post in the original thread and hope for an update...

Right... I figured out whats going on now.... the sneaky little gits (my members)

It IS still working for quoted images.

But if you quote the first post... then add an image in your reply... and then the next person in the thread quotes that... that image remains, in all the subsequent posts in the topic.
They're nesting quotes... and the plugin is only converting the original post to a URL.

Appears to be the issue, confirmed on my test system.  The example that failed for me on our live board was also a nested quote.  For what it's worth, I also checked the plugin code.  Nothing in there that should be impacted by an upgrade.  Just surprised haven't come across it before.  Or had a use case test for it.
