Because of the following line profile fields are not parsed in quick replies.

Is it better/possible to move probable duplicated code into the post handler?
Could be wrong but worth a try.

I would agree, as I don't understand the reasoning for this particular decision to keep the profile fields cache outside the post handler.

Good find. I've noticed this too, but I suppose I figured it was just a plugin-related issue at the time.
