I had recently started working on a new MyBB Theme called Modernize.
It's using the Materialize framework.

Suggestions are always welcomed.
I am also looking forward to making it responsive and add a dark variant that would be switchable through a button.

Looks nice. As a suggestion, the "Important Threads" red/purple/crimson color seems off of place, the same color seems good in buttons and anywhere displayed in your screenshots though.
