I really like the yellow and blue announcement banner at the top of the MyBB board http://community.mybboard.net/

Is that available as a plugin or is it a custom job?

I think I have seen a red one up at one stage too

My Board Message plugin allows a you to add a similar message to your board. The new version of the plugin which will be available in a while allows more than one message and allows creater control of how the message(s) look.

The community forums however simply use a template modification to produce the announcement(s) at the top of the forum index. You can find out more information about the modification on the MyBB wiki.

ok i did it but i cant make a word ( register ) linked... for ex :

To write messages you must be REGISTERED

i couldnt make registered word clickable to make the guest quickly register...

That plugin should accept HTML code, IIRC.
