No matter what I do, my news.php page always says:

There are no announcements available at this time.

. Is there some special snippet I'm missing? My announcements are showing up fine on my portal.

You put in the right fid value for it to get the news posts from, right?

Yes, my fid is correct, like I said, my news appears on my portal.

The portal and site news fid settings are in different sections in the ACP. That's why I was asking.

The portal is fine, but it might be due to not having the same value in the Site News configuration.

Oh, I must have missed that in the read-me file. Thanks it works now, but the avatars don't show up, even if I choose to in the ACP. I checked the url of the broken image, and it adds a

after my forum directory, where can I remove this, in what code?

Hmm...maybe check through the PHP plugin file and see where it has the avatar URL at, and see if a . got put in there.

I don't remember if it makes a lang file or something in the database, so you might have to check to see if the plugin did it in one of those, instead of simply in the file.

I looked in the file, but I could not find anything, everything had a string $url, and when I found what it's value was, it was just another string, and it was never ending! Tikitiki could you please help?
