Change MyBB logo

I could not find a post about this so please forgive me if I missed it. 

How do I remove/change the default MyBB logo at the top? 

Also how do I get those colored announcements across the top of the forums like here on the community forums?

To change the logo, just go in "Templates & styles", select your theme and you'll find "Board Logo" in the theme properties.

To add the colored announcements, use BAM Announcement Manager
